Another Icky one
Someone with a late June LID was told by their agency that they expected it to take the CCAA three months to get through the month of June.
No word on which agency this was.
The thing is, I'm wondering if some of these agencies aren't just trying to predict based on past performance. Or if they actually have word from the CCAA.

3 months, so do you count April for the 1st one, this is an answer we are not sure of, with us having a late July LID that would mean a referral in July, August or September........I wish these people reporting this would post there agencies, is that now allowed?? Our fingerprints expire in July and our 171 expires in December........Can someone please tell why our agencies do not know something firm???? Why can't the CCAA not tell them?? Please someone help me understand this! This is driving me nuts!!

I think agencies are just guessing or maybe have heard June is a large month as well. Our agency in Canada also told us they expect it to take CCAA 3 mos to get through June and 2 to get through Julys.??
If June does take 3 months and then August takes 3 months and Oct takes 3 months, then poeple like me, with a March 2006 can expect a referral in 2 years. (seriously)
There is no way they could stick to 12 months unless they doubled up on the other months.
The whole thing is completely infuriating. As another posted mentioned, we picked China due to their predicatbility. This is just too much now!
Bottom line here is this.... NO ONE KNOWS.
My agency, Bethany, told us while we were updating our HS last month that they thought we were in a good spot for a referral at the end of the month... We are LID on 6/29! Thank goodness I did not take that one to heart.
In speaking with our Int'l desk, they are "predicting" (again.. no one knows) that we will get our referral at the end of June...
I love this site and visit often and will continue to visit but honestly? I can't believe anything until CCAA updates their site. The rumors tend to become more solid right up to referrals being mailed... but prior to that? Good reading.

1:28 I know how you feel. We are LID in March 06 as well.:( I just can't handle a 2 year wait, but yes it is very possible if they don't double up somewhere it will take 2 years, no joke!! I am hoping and praying in the smaller mos they will do some catch up. I really feel it won't go past 14 mo max. It has never gone over that b4 I don't believe?? Or why don't they put a quota out there in order to catch up??
Or maybe there will be alot of these babies that are paper ready soon and they may do a catchup in a big way. I am probably just dreaming. sign

Month 1) May 31 - June 12
Month 2) June 13 - June 26
Month 3) June 27 - July 10
Which is encouraging, and technically 3 months
Or will it be
Month 1) May 31 - June 3
Month 2) June 4 - June 16
Month 3) June 17 - June 28
Month 4) June 29 - Aug 10
I don't think anyone knows that - if they did we wouldn't be here discussing.
Right now I take what anyone says... be that agency, CCAA or otherwise, with a grain of salt.

I don't understand this! We choose China because of the country, the culture and of course the lovely people!! When we see a little girl from China then we melt! I don't hope we have to wait for 2 years, but when it will be than so be it. We will not change the country because of the speed or predictability! We will wait for our little chinagirl (or boy! even that is possible since more boys are being matched).
