UPDATE: Someone emailed me the blog address of one of the 5/27 people without a referral.

Apparently there are some May 27th people without a referral. Their agency checked into it and was told the CCAA wasn't able to do everyone through the 30th. Again we hear that this is because of the number of paper ready children available to be matched.
The agency asked for a timeframe, the answer was "the referrals will be made when they are ready".
The agency representative was also reminded by the CCAA that because of the Hunan trial and the press surrounding it they are being extra vigilant to screen paperwork to make sure that all children are truly eligible for adoption. It was stated this is a big reason the number of paperwork ready children has slowed so much in the past several months.

So, the CCAA couldnt come up with enough paper-ready babies to fill FIVE DAYS worth of LIDS and we are all hoping that they'll get back to full months soon???
Anyone else see disconnect there?
Sorry to be a downer but this is really unnerving...
Ok now i see Sebago, though she does say that its her whole group that didnt get referrals.
Its possible that the whole group requested babies from that one Christian-run orphanage which would explain it...
I heart you guys. It sounds like this could very well be the issue.
Just to clarify - we said we would like our daughter from a particular orphanage but that we would take her from anywhere.
We never expected our entire travel group to be matched from this location because there are few if any nsn babies there. We assumed if we got matched from the requested place the others would be matched from a nearby SWI.
We do believe that they are trying to honor our request (- although we had originally said it would just be appreciated IF it was possible -) and this is the reason for our group's delay.
CCAA did say though that we are not the only ones with a LID before 5/31 not matched. Someone left a comment on my blog saying their agency has an earlier May LID group that hasn't got referrals either. My guess is (and this is only MY guess) that any groups not matched with LID before 5.31 probably have some type of special circumstance, like us.
I hope our travel group doesn't stone us... LOL
