More bad news

Someone from a medium sized agency in the U.S. has been told the wait could be up to 18 months for them, with a November LID.

Wow, that is a very sad rumor. Lets hope its not true.

I just read an interesting post on another board that said due to the lost referrals last month the CCAA had to re-create 26 of them. Their staff was dedicating in order to fix this problem. I don't know if 'dedicating staff' means that they were all pulled of matching future referrals or not.

I haven't seen much talk about this being a possible reason for the small referral batch and find it interesting so I thought I'd share this here to see if anyone has any comments.

AOFD - I've seen a few people speculate about that, but haven't seen anything more than that.

Deanna - it wasn't specific, but most agencies give time frames of LID to referral.

GWCA continues to emphasise a 10-12 month time frame. They told us this back in November. I believe they are committed to conveying accurate information, even if it's the kind nobody wants to hear! The CCAA had to recreate more the 26 lost dossiers - GWCA alone had about 90 lost dossiers, I believe. Hopefully that contributed to the slow-down.

OH MY GOD. I actually felt my heart drop down to my feet. I love the rumors, and then I hate the rumors too, ya know? I wish my agency would say something to us. *sigh*
