Huh?
Someone posted to APC that they got their LID and that their agency also received referrals today.
It got my attention, but I'm wondering how it would happen that we wouldn't hear about referrals arriving until 8:00 at night. Doesn't seem likely. Does it?
UPDATE: I have news of at least one person who received a referral today. No word on their LID or their agency at this point. Apparently this one was a Special Needs referral, so never mind. Still not sure about what the person on APC was referring to.

I am always on APC and I have not seen a posting regarding a referral?
APC is a yahoo group. You do have to be a member to see the posts, but if you are involved with China adoption somehow they will let you join.

right, they might have taken off today, but its still not an official holiday in the US as not everyone in the world is christian :)

Someone posting on FebDTC group stated that their agency received a DHL package last pm containing referrals and LID's. Their LID was included.
Jeane - someone forgot to tell that to our local Post Office then, because we got mail yesterday.
I see where several agencies got new Waiting Child lists yesterday. I'm really beginning to wonder if someone isn't calling one of those lists a "bunch of referrals".
I saw a post on APC from someone saying that they had just received their LID. They said that their agency had told them in the past that they received LID information when they received referrals. They were hopeful this meant that referrals had arrived, too. Could this post have been misconstrued? Just a thought.

yes i got mail too, happily, since my mother sent me some kind of 10% off coupon for talbots kids( my new favorite too-expensive store).
and i was going to say something about the ( wonderful) separation of church and state in the u.s., but RQ wants to keep this site free of religious talk (which i support), so i'll leave it at that...
