June 3rd Rumor
From what I can tell, the rumor is that they have matched through June 3rd. Not that they have mailed through June 3rd.
Which really doesn't make any sense to me.
But, part of my speculation for why they haven't changed the site yet was that maybe they are about to release another batch and they will just change it once. I have absolutely no basis for thinking this.. it's just speculation.
The fact remains that I haven't seen or heard about any referrals received today that are past 5/30... so anything having to do with June 3rd has to be a future tense thing.

My agency CCAI has a message on their board that referrals are from 5/26-5/31.
My agency got their 5/30 referrals but not any for 5/31. I thought I'd heard CCAI didn't have any more may LID so maybe they assumed the rest of May, just a guess?
FWIW - I've heard from two people now who've said that their agency is hinting that another batch may be on the way. Neither agency was sure, but thought there was a possibility.
and still waiting,
Excellent point. Maybe we will see another mailing soon.
Ah, Rumor Queen....you are like a bad boyfriend from high school. Just when I have despaired of ever being happy again, you throw me another bone. The torture! :)
More speculation...maybe the CCAA will start send out referrals as they finish them instead of in large (or not-so-large) batches?
Oh please please let this be true. Finally a good rumor I can sink my teeth into. Maybe now I can sleep tonight as I dream about this becoming a reality. I know it may be a long shot but its all I have. Thanks RQ!
two things i was wondering:
#1 do you think they may try to catch-up to be about where they were the last two years?
#2 do you think our agencies should (and could, would it be possible for them to) get together on a total # of DTC allowed per month (based on agency size of course) to a) keep the flow of docs to china at a standard size so china can plan ahead and not get hung-up on a large batch, and to b) give us more realistic wait times? we rushed to be dtc march 2006 because in past years it looks like Feb.& March DTCs have had about 6 month referral rates as opposed to other months. but we paid extra for overnight services and stuff. i might have relaxed more, if i knew each month was, more or less, standardized....
what-cha think?

well, but i meant for the usa. we are by far the largest adopter from china i would think.
i think it would work.
if it seems, as our queen is suggesting, that ccaa is deliberately slowing down things, it may be precisely what they want, but they want us to institute it, not them i'm sure. if they did it it might seem like they are having trouble with the workload, which is not something they seem able to express, hence that post about the length of matching time on their site. when i read that post i was sure the workload was the issue, and that they just didn't want to say so, so they put up a post denying it.
i think they are trying to force us (meaning our agencies) into helping them without it looking like they need help...
