More on the review room

Someone posted a comment in the consulate holiday thread that says:
No rumor, just a comment. We are DTC 9/9, LID 10/10 and just received a request for more information from the CCAA.
Thanks for the info, and I hope the info they needed is something simple that won't be a big problem.

Do you think they are done with September then, or jus reviewing both at once?

I have heard several times that CCAA has contacted people for additional information, what do they ask for? I am a first time adopter, and thought the dossier contained everything they would need.

Katie - I'm beginning to think that each person gets a stack and works through them at their own pace, so just because one person is through a certain date doesn't mean someone else isn't through that date. So, when they post it on the web page it means that everyone has made it through the end of the month (but someone else might be way ahead). I believe files are divvied up by country and then (for bigger countries) by agency.

Andi - they might ask for clarification on something your doctor wrote, or they might ask for some information about something that came up on the criminal check (maybe a transgression from 20 years ago that they want more details about)... or maybe there is a discrepancy somewhere that the agency didn't catch (like maybe the numbers for income on financials and homestudy and employer letter don't match up to the penny or something).
