Only hope, Spain has been wrong the last couple of referral batches...so lets hope they are wrong again!(Never thought I would say that!)
Could it be that Spain does not have any June LIDs or at least early June - so THEIR cut-off is May 30th??? Just hoping...
un-freakin-believable. but spain was off last time... so here's hoping they went REALLY conservative this time since they overshot so far last time?
Spain does have June LIDs... they participate on the June DTC boards. I can't imagine they would only get through 5 days though... that's only 3 business days... a Thursday, Friday and Monday. This can't be right... at this rate, we won't get our referral until August??? Nahhh.... this can't be right.

OK, this is my worst nightmare...with a May 31st LID...they've got to be kidding...you will need to lock me up and throw away the key.
If this is true, I'm going to need a straight jacket.

NO! I am not accepting this. Something has got to be up with this rumour...5 days in over a month of working with no holidays etc? Do we think the end of May is that unusually large?
I was about to get started on the nursery but forget it...looks like I have about 10 years!
I can not believe it either!! If that is the case and it continues, China is not going to do it self any favors. The one thing we heard was China was very steady and unchanging in their adoption process. Some have choosen China because of that. If this begins to happen, it will make it worse for the children in the orphanages. Not many people would be willing to wait 18-24 months to get their referrals!
can this really be true. I am devastated. We're lid Sept 13th and I really thought we'd hear by aug/sept. if this is the case then God only knows when we'll here.

I went to the Spanish site (the reliable source) a second ago and it says that the cutoff date is not determined yet. You can read it at:
www.afac.net It's in Spanish, but Google Language Tools will translate it for you.

I regret to tell you that here, in Spain, as far as I know, there is a
huge amount of dossiers in June.
More or less, we have LID's almost in every day from 06/02 till 06/30
with high numbers of dossiers by the 06/13 and 06/23.
Usual amount of referrals per month in Spain is about 90-100, only
from the last week of May it is said (but no way to know for sure)
there were 150 dossiers.
As far as some of my JuneDTC group could manage to know, we have 240
dossiers with June LID.
Take into account that many people in Spain does not use agencies.

Just heard from agency 'Bethany' -- Confirmed Cut Off date is May 30th!
They have never been caught up in the rumors and wait each month for confirmation from thier China office..
With a June 2nd Login date we are crushed..! We were 99.9% sure we would be in this batch...
Heard from my adoption coordinator this afternoon that the unofficial word is CCAA only finished thru May. She wanted us to be prepared and hear it from her first. We are LID 6/3. Damn.
