Mailed Wed or Thurs

Someone emailed me that their DTC group has a rumor that referrals will be mailed Wednesday or Thursday. No idea what agency this came from.

Some agencies receive them in a day or two, others it takes almost a week.

Some agencies get them right away and then don't make phone calls for a couple of days. Some make phone calls right away.

Basically once we know they have been mailed it's usually a day or two before the first referrals are announced, and then a week later some are still trickling in.

Some agencies are told ahead of time how many referrals they will be receiving and they use this information to figure out the cut-off date. Apparently not all of them get this information.

For a while the CCAA changed their website the day after referrals were sent - so we had about a 12 to 24 hour time frame that we knew the cut-off before they arrived. Last month they changed it after referrals arrived and we already knew the cut-off.

Do you think the Wed/Thurs rumor is our time or China time? I am just wondering if there is any chance I will see something by Friday or should just assume next weekend.

Beckya,
CCAA will issue a travel authorization once you have accepted your referral. It usually takes 4-6 weeks after you receive and accept your referral before you will travel. It could take longer if there are holidays/special days in China. The CCAA dates are based on LID's.
